Privacy policy.
The short version
This policy explains what Advance in Motion Physical Therapy collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone who is not helping us run the clinic or this site.
This page covers the website. It is not medical advice, and reading it does not create a patient relationship.
What we collect
- Information you give us in a form: your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about your pain, your goals, or your question.
- Information you give us by phone or email when you contact the clinic.
- Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as device type, general location, the pages you viewed, and the site that referred you.
You do not have to fill in any form on this site. If you would rather not, call us at (910) 782-2150 instead.
How we use it
- To call or write you back about the appointment, question or request you sent.
- To check your benefits and get you scheduled, if you asked us to.
- To send appointment reminders and availability updates you have agreed to receive.
- To understand which pages people find useful, so we can improve the site.
Text messages
By providing a phone number and submitting a form, you agree to receive SMS text messages for appointment, reminder and availability purposes from Advance In Motion PT. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not affect your care.
Your health information
A web form is not a medical record. Please do not send detailed health information, images or documents through this website. Once you are a patient, the health information we create and keep about your care is handled by the clinic under federal and state health privacy law, separately from this website.
Who else touches your information
We use outside services to run the clinic and this site: our scheduling and records system, our email and phone providers, our website host, and analytics and mapping tools. They only receive what they need to do their job, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Cookies and third-party content
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and traffic measurement. Some pages embed content from third parties, such as maps and review widgets, and those providers may set their own cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information collected through the site. Email admin@aimpts.com and tell us what you need. Requests about your patient records are handled through the clinic's records process, and we will walk you through it.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Parents and guardians can of course request care for a child by calling the clinic.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here. Questions about privacy go to admin@aimpts.com, (910) 782-2150, or Advance in Motion Physical Therapy, 1800 Sir Tyler Dr Suite 100, Wilmington, NC 28405. We answer Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.
