We check the protocol and where you are.
Go in stronger, come out with a plan. Prehab before the date, and rehab after it, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
What It Is
The weeks before surgery usually get spent waiting. They’re better spent getting strong. Prehab builds the motion and strength you’ll be borrowing from on the other side of the date.
After surgery, your surgeon’s protocol is the floor, not the ceiling. We follow it exactly, then coach the parts a protocol can’t put in writing: how to move around the house, what counts as normal soreness, and what deserves a phone call.
Same Doctor of Physical Therapy from the first visit to the last, working a plan with an endpoint: Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent.
We work from your surgeon’s protocol
What It Helps
Whatever the operation was, how you live afterward is decided by what happens around it.

If you have the runway, yes. You come out of an operation with less strength and less motion than you went in with, so the level you start from matters. Prehab also gets the awkward parts out of the way early: crutches, stairs, and how you’ll get in and out of bed the first night home.
Yes. Bring it with you, or tell us who did the operation and we’ll get it. Your surgeon sets the restrictions and we work inside them. What we add is everything the paperwork leaves out, coached one-on-one by the same Doctor of Physical Therapy each visit.
No. Plenty of people finish their post-op visits, get discharged, and quietly settle for a joint that never came all the way back. A cause-first evaluation will tell you what’s stiffness, what’s weakness, and what’s just habit. Every one of those is worth working on.
